The project was a design build contract, which required acquisition of resource consents, consultation with stakeholders, evaluation and consultation around tree root management, traffic control, timber board walks, pavement construction, kerbing, asphalt, decorative concrete works, paving works and soft scaping including planting.
The project was a street scape contract including architectural street furniture, decorative paving, multiple boutique concrete finishes and landscaping/soft scaping works. The client was very impressed with the works, and ACL kept the programme and costs to the original proposal allowing for the grand opening to go ahead as expected.
